How do I submit artwork?

Having familiarised yourself with our range, style and content, please send in representative samples of your work. Send a small collection of good quality colour copies or prints, or send by CD or e-mail. DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL ARTWORK.

Please provide a stamped addressed envelope for us to return your work, allowing 15 working days for a reply. Send your work to ;

e-mail your work to studio@simonelvin.com and quote 'Artwork Submission' in the subject line.

What happens once you have received my work?

It will be carefully considered by our design managers. They will either;

Buy original artwork or commission new designs
Consider designs for future use
Return your work if it is unsuitable for our market



	What size should the design be? Generally all designs are upright/portrait format. When sending your samples keep them to a manageable size to fit in an A4 envelope. If we commission work we will specify a particular size. What styles are you looking for? Look closely at our ranges; we constantly develop and freshen our designs, but please ensure your work broadly complements our style. What type of work are you looking for? In general terms the most important element we are looking for in your work is flair and imagination. We will consider work in all the categories of our range including; Everyday, Christmas and Spring Season. To sum up Do familiarise yourself with our range Send only the very best and most suitable work Enclose a stamped addressed envelope Wait for a response – please be patient How much do you pay for designs? We would usually buy designs with a one off payment rather than a royalty system. The pay varies according to the complexity of the individual design. Prices vary between £175-£275 for outright worldwide greeting cards rights. This means we retain permanent rights for the greeting cards.
